

At least make it obvious from the outset that I'm going to need to set aside a good hour or two to make it to a save point, so that a) I don't spend fruitless time searching for a bug fix where the "bug" is by design and b) I can actually schedule sufficient uninterrupted playing time.

Weeks go by where I can only get 30-60 min at a time in. Not knowing whether or not the last hour or so you've sunk into the game is going to be *completely* lost if you quit is a pretty big argument to not bother playing (and hence, buying) - for me, at least. I guess my main point is that if it's not going to save until you're done with the first mission, the game should make this VERY clear. I agree that it should save about halfway through the first mission though.
